Pittsburgh, 12.09.14 – Select International was named “Grand Marketer of the Year” for the first time and also was awarded “Marketer of the Year” in the Professional Services category for the 3rd year by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
The AMA Marketer of the Year is Pittsburgh’s premiere results-based marketing competition. It recognizes top-performing brands that compete in one of 12 categories, some of the categories include b2b services, consumer services, financial services and media promotions. Entries are judged by a panel of marketing leaders in academia and business in the Pittsburgh region. Only one Grand Marketer of the Year is chosen by each AMA chapter.
Founded in 1993, Select International develops employee assessment solutions to help companies identify, select and develop top talent throughout their organization. The nomination highlighted some of the results of Select International’s 2014 marketing efforts including:
- Significantly increased the value of sales in opportunities created through marketing initiatives
- Increased the number of leads generated by the website and trade shows
- Increased New Client Acquisition

The award ceremony took place December 4, 2014, at LeMont on Mount Washington. Michael Bartley, WQED On-Air Host, served as master of ceremonies for the event.
