Product Simulation
Production Simulations are "high fidelity" work samples comprised of several workstations. Each station type is designed to simulate different aspects of assembly line work in a way that several skills of each candidate can be objectively measured for purposes of the selection process. The simulation consists of strenuous physical activities that include lifting, walking, bending, squatting, pulling and stretching, climbing in and out of stations and using hand tools. This customized process simulation ensures that candidates have the aptitude and affinity for hourly production work.
Description
- Production simulations are timed, "hands-on" assessments that recreate production work.
- Candidates are provided a realistic job preview of the target position.
- Candidates are measured on their work pace, quality focus, safety orientation, and stamina.
- Each work station is designed to simulate common production activities. Candidates will perform the same repetitive physical motions that are performed on the job.
- Candidates are objectively and automatically scored by computer to produce accurate, fast, and unbiased results.
- The participants are provided with supporting documents to help them make decisions and create their responses.
