Online Privacy

Select International Respects Your Online Privacy

Select International is not just committed to helping you with potential human resources compliance issues in your recruitment process, but we’re also committed to protecting any personal information that you may provide to us. In particular, we believe it is important for you to know how we treat personal information about you that we may receive from this website.

Information Collected

In general, you can visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. Our web servers collect the domain names – not the email addresses – of visitors. Our web servers also seek (as many websites do) to place a "cookie" (a small data file) on your computer's hard drive which allows the server to determine the computer when it visits again, in order to track statistical information about navigation to and throughout certain areas of our site. This cookie is not used to obtain your name or any personal data, and the information that is tracked is used only for internal purposes, such as to improve site navigation and to measure the effectiveness of our promotional placements, and is not shared with anyone other than those who assist Select International in these efforts and are bound to confidentiality. However, if you prefer not to accept cookies, you can set your browser to reject them or to alert you before one is placed.

In addition, there are portions of this website where we may need to collect personal information from you for a specific purpose, such as to provide you with certain information you request. The information collected from you may include your name, company name, address, telephone, fax number or email address.

We may also collect information for recruitment, selection and development purposes by potential employers, managing recruitment and human resource processes and any related purpose where you have consented to the collection. We do not collect information about our visitors from other sources, such as public records or bodies, or private organizations. We do not collect or use personal data for any purpose other than those indicated above and will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you or allows us to contact you. If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, we offer you the means to consent to this new purpose by indicating in a box at the point on the site where personal data is collected.

Use Of Collected Information

If we require you to provide certain personal information about yourself for the purposes described above, we will not rent, sell or exchange information about you to third parties except to your employers or potential employers, where you consent, where you would reasonably expect the information to be disclosed or where we are legally required to disclose such information.

Domain name information that we collect is not used to personally identify you and instead is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed, etc. We use this information to measure the use of our site and to improve the content of our site.

When other information is collected from you, such as your name and email address, we generally let you know at the time of collection how we will use the personal information. Usually, we use the personal information you provide only to respond to your inquiry or to process your request (such as to receive electronic newsletters or other correspondence).

We do not share, sell or lease personal information about you to any third parties for their marketing use. We will release information about you if you direct us to do so, if we are required by law to do so or in other legally limited circumstances.

Links To Other Sites

Select International's website may contain links to other sites such as industry publications or business partnerships. While we try to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices employed by other sites.

Security Of Collected Information

We maintain strict physical, electronic and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized or inappropriate access. Select International personnel with access to this information have been trained and advised of the importance of maintaining the security and confidentiality of such information and of using it only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Anyone who misuses personal information is subject to disciplinary action.

Access To Personal Information

Upon request submitted to info@selectintl.com, Select International will provide website visitors, at no cost, with access to their personal information that we have on record and the ability to complete, update or remove such information. The Select International website may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information. If you access those links, you will leave the Select International website. Select International does not control these third-party sites or their privacy practices, which may differ from Select International. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. The personal data you choose to give to unrelated third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy.

In the event your personal information is acquired, or is reasonably believed to have been acquired, by an unauthorized person, and applicable law requires notification to you by Select International, Select International will notify you of such breach promptly by email, fax or U.S. mail, as permitted by law and consistent with the reasonable investigatory needs of law enforcement and/or Select International.
