Jenelle Gunther Named Finalist For CIO of the Year Award
PITTSBURGH - Jenelle Gunther, Manager of Technology for Select International, was recently named a finalist for the 2006 Pittsburgh CIO of the Year Awards. The award, sponsored by The Pittsburgh Technology Council and The Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group, honors individual technology executives for their innovation and creativity in the planning and deployment of enterprise systems, future IT goals, management philosophy, corporate culture and service to the industry and community.
“It is a great honor to be nominated by my peers for this award,” said Ms. Gunther. “To be acknowledged by the Pittsburgh Technology Council gives me a great sense of accomplishment, especially since Pittsburgh is a city on the cutting edge of technological advances.” Jenelle manages both the internal IT staff responsible for systems management as well as the technology team driving product design, development, programming and implementation.
