Select International Awards Grant to Imani Christian Academy
Pittsburgh, January 31, 2006 - Select International, a global provider of human resource solutions, awarded a $10,000 grant to Imani Christian Academy, a private school located in the East Hills of Pittsburgh.
An alternative to public schools, Imani Christian Academy is a registered school whose mission is “to embrace all children in our society, particularly those who are at risk, transform them into whole adults - spiritually, academically, physically and socially - and then launch them into lives of purpose and contribution”. The school has an enrollment of 180 students in grades K-12.
“We chose Imani Christian Academy as the recipient of this grant because of its commitment to improving the lives of children through education,” said Kevin Klinvex, Select International Co-founder. “This school provides a tremendous amount of support to its students, facilitated through programs that encourage personal growth and achievement.”
In addition to providing grant money, Select International will train many of Imani’s seniors in key interviewing skills, helping them to prepare for successful job searches.
