Select International Co-Founder to Join Former Steeler at a Different Kind of “Training Camp”

PITTSBURGH, July 25, 2006 — As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for training camp, Select International will be contributing to a different kind of training session for employers across the region next week.

Kevin Klinvex, Executive Vice-President and Co-founder of Select International, will be one of two featured speakers at “Training Camp: Creating a Championship Work Force,” which is being presented by the Pittsburgh Technology Council. The event will also feature Tunch Ilkin, former offensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the team’s current TV and radio analyst.

“Similar to sports, you need to assemble a strong team to win in business,” noted Klinvex, author of the best-selling book Hiring Great People. “It takes time, effort and tenacity, but the pay-off is enormous.”

Following Ilkin’s presentation, Klinvex will guide attendees through his own version of training camp with a step-by-step approach to selecting and developing top talent.

The event is being held on Thursday, August 3 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. It is expected to attract representatives from top manufacturers and businesses from across the region. “Training Camp: Creating a Championship Work Force” is sponsored by Catalyst Connection, IBM, Microsoft, Pepper Hamilton LLP, PNC Bank, and Sprint Nextel.
