Select International Achieves National Ranking as a Top Provider of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) Services
- Inclusion in "Baker's Dozen" Further Demonstrates Select's RPO Expertise -
PITTSBURGH, August 20, 2008 - Select International, a Pittsburgh-based global provider of assessment products, hiring solutions, and recruitment process outsourcing, was recently named to the 2008 "Baker's Dozen," a ranking of major RPO firms. Compiled by the HRO Today, a leading trade publication in the human capital management industry, the "Baker's Dozen" is based on a survey completed by 262 HR executives who are current buyers of RPO services. The list was published in this month's edition of the magazine.
"Select International has always taken a strategic approach to all of its RPO engagements, ensuring that our consultants are focused on our customer's broader talent acquisition needs in relation to their business objectives. In this way, Select enables organizations to find, hire and retain the very best people to do the job," said Kevin Klinvex, Executive Vice President and Co-founder. "We are very pleased with this independent acknowledgement of our efforts and are proud to be recognized by HRO Today as a leader in the RPO industry."
HRO Today used the following metrics to determine the RPO providers who were ranked among this year's "Baker's Dozen": size and duration of RPO engagements, breadth of services offered, and degree of customer service satisfaction provided.
A pioneer in RPO, Select International began providing such services to clients more than a decade ago. Select focuses on RPO engagements that emphasize assessments and specializes in extensive and complex outsourcing projects, whether they require a la carte offerings or result in end-to-end partnerships. Clients include Goodyear, Toyota, PACCAR and Navistar (International Truck & Engine). In each case, Select International has empowered global and regional organizations to streamline and improve their hiring processes, resulting in a reduction in cost per hire, a decrease in both turnover rates and time to hire, and an improvement in quality of hires.
'While the time to hire has been cut significantly, the most important advantage of partnering with Select International is that the quality of the candidates has improved dramatically," noted Tim Powelke, Melrose Park Plant HR manager for Navistar, Inc., where Select has served as a partner for almost ten years.
"As the Baby Boom generation of workers retires and the war for the best talent heats up, more and more organizations are coming to the realization that they need a strategic partner to help them with their strategic talent acquisition needs," added Klinvex. "Select International's track record of success makes us a preferred provider."
