Select International to Showcase “Virtual Job Auditions” at Upcoming HR State Conference
PITTSBURGH, September 25, 2006 — Select International, a global provider of human resource assessment solutions, will showcase its cutting-edge Virtual Job Auditions® (VJA®) at the Human Resources 2006 PA State Conference and Exhibition. The event, taking place on Monday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 10 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh, is expected to attract more than 100 exhibitors and 500 human resources professionals from across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Used by a number of Fortune 500 companies, Virtual Job Auditions assess prospective employees in a host of employment scenarios - from entry level jobs to key executive positions. Entry-level manufacturing candidates monitor equipment and multitask on a “virtual” production line. Executive-level candidates are placed in a “virtual” office setting, where they must monitor their in-box, respond to inquiries and field phone calls appropriately.
The Human Resources 2006 PA State Conference and Exhibition combines the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association’s (PHRA) 58th Annual Conference & Exhibition and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) PA State Council Leadership Symposium.
