Behavioral Interviewing

Interviewing is the most widely used instrument in applicant screening and assessment, yet many companies do not have a sound interviewing process. Research shows that structured, behavioral interviewing that measures candidates' competencies and job fit motivation are the most accurate at predicting future job success. Many interviewers, however, even after going through behavioral interviewing training, revert to “gut feeling decision making.” The primary reasons are that the behavioral interviewing training they received wasn't practical or, worse, it was boring.

These challenges were the motivation behind the development of Select Interviewing®, an innovative and interactive behavioral interviewing system.
